Lavanya learned magic in hiding from her father. When he sacrificed himself to ensure her escape from the templars, she was left with crushing guilt that now takes the form of a shadowy demon in her dreams. Years of survival in the wilds taught her the ancient art of shapeshifting, and she has become a master of taking animal forms to escape danger or strike unexpectedly.
